I am extremely gratified to live and serve in a state that recognizes marriage equality. You will find I have an open heart and mind, and a contemporary perspective.  As a couple you have a special, unique, shared bond that deserves to be acknowleged in the ways that are most meaningful to you.  As well as being a Celebrant, I am also a proud parent who is  involved and active in the GLBT community, inspired by my beautiful daughter.  It’s my honor and my calling to create wedding ceremonies that respect all people, all faiths, all beliefs and are inclusive of any couple whose love has drawn them to seek recognition of their personal commitment and enter into a state of marriage.  I founded Tapestry Ceremonies on the cornerstone of my belief is that love makes a family.  I officiate and create all types of meaningful, personalized ceremonies for couples, families, and individuals in the GLBT community.  I understand that we all share and are blessed by the universal gift of love, and yet there is a poignancy to same gender weddings because they are a milestone in the long road to tolerance and acceptance in America.  I want to work with you to create a ceremony that recognized all the aspects of your relationship that bring meaning to your life in a way that works just for you.  I craft weddings, mother and father blessings, baby welcomings and baby naming ceremonies, home and house blessings, and also am available for public and civic events.  Please feel free to contact me.

Here's what some of my clients have said...

"Thinking of all the words and meanings of a traditional wedding ceremony never worked for us.  We had no idea a ceremony could be created that worked just the way we wanted it to, and spoke the language we needed it to.  Thank you- Rhonda and Leah

"…You were sensative where we needed you to be and a strong advocate when we needed you to be, and you made our wedding a wonderful gift we gave to eachother and to our loved ones."
